Description
Studio Oil is a brand of high quality and affordable oil colour. It offers a well-balanced spectrum of 48 brilliant colours with a high concentration of pigments for intense colours. The colours also have excellent lightfastness and 25 of them are made from a single pigment. The oil used is a refined blend of linseed and sunflower oil, ensuring no yellowing. The consistency of the paint is smooth and buttery due to the use of bees wax. The paint dries on the surface in 2 to 4 days and is produced using traditional methods. A small amount of bees wax is added to give the paint a buttery and short consistency and to make the colour-film less brittle for restorers. The binders used are pure vegetable linseed and sunflower oils of special quality.

A spoor (0.5-1.5%) of the finest bees wax as one of the ingredients gives the colour the famous buttery and short consistency and makes the colour-film less brittle for the restorer. The binders are only pure vegetable linseed and sunflower oils in special quality.
